Clinical trials at CENTUS

Undertaking the first TUS clinical studies in the UK, in collaboration with University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust

The University of Plymouth is leading the way in the UK, undertaking the first transcranial ultrasound stimulation research studies in the UK, welcoming over 100 participants with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD) to continue to develop our understanding of the therapeutic capability of TUS.

  • ? Six clinical studies completed

  • ? Seven ongoing healthy participant studies

  • ? Two ongoing clinical studies

  • ? 15 clinical studies gained ethics approval
