Marine science undergraduate scheme
The scheme allows flexibility and transfer between our suite of three specialist BSc courses up until the end of Year 2.
BSc (Hons) Ocean Science
Includes an oceanography focused module, a practical oceanography skills-based module and multiple boat work sessions. Field trips have included the Maldives and Isles of Scilly.
BSc (Hons) Ocean Exploration and Surveying
Includes a seafloor mapping focused module, a practical hydrographic survey skills-based module and multiple boat work sessions. Field trips have included the Maldives and Isles of Scilly.
BSc (Hons) Ocean Science and Marine Conservation
Includes specialised teaching in marine ecology, conservation field sampling and research methods. Field trips have included the Bahamas, Bali and Isles of Scilly.
